Just what is IT?

First off, I'd like to apologize for taking so long to update.

IT is defined by the book as "The development, installation, and implementation of computer systems and applications." (The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition) However, it goes past designing what sits upon your desktop.

Here is an article about the future uses of IT, many of which involve psychology. This changes all kinds of things: law enforcement, medicine, counseling, and even advertising. In these ways, technology can change the way people live their lives. That's cool and scary at the same time. It'll be interesting to see the cries of sacrelige that come out of this.

If you have anything to add, your comments are appreciated. I'd like to have a comprehensive definition of this.

I can't remember what this one is called...just go to "Template" in your settings and "Select new" or something else like that. It's around there somewhere.
